I would highly recommend Karen as a driving instructor. She creates a welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning and ensures you feel safe. Karen is a highly skilled and knowledgeable driving instructor, and passes on her knowledge through clear, understandable diagrams and explanations. When I was unsure of anything, Karen would be able to explain it and make me feel much more confident about the situation.

Karen is very good at teaching and has been patient with me from the start, helping me not just be able to do what I’m doing but also learn and understand what/why it is done. With me having a tight schedule she has been very flexible and worked around that. We have done a lot of mock test's which has gained me confidence and helped me get over the nerves of a real test. Overall I would highly recommend Karen.
Karen is an Exceptional instructor, I have improved so well over the last 3 months. The lessons are a great learning curve and Karen aids you to be the best person but most importantly a safe driver. I really enjoyed lessons with Karen. I knew how to drive prior to lessons but I never drove in the UK. I needed a few lessons to get used to driving on the left side which Karen helped with. She explained everything to me very clearly and was patient with my questions. I can recommend her to people who want to learn to drive or just need a refresher.

I’ve really enjoyed my driving experience whilst learning with Karen. She’s very easy to chat too and is an excellent instructor where she asks what you would like to work on and goes into depth on areas you are struggling in. The mock tests we did were very useful leading up to my test and made me more confident in my abilities. I will miss my lessons with her each week!

My amazing experience with KAR-n-DRIVE
I would highly recommend Karen as a driving instructor. She understands how overwhelming driving can be so puts you at ease from day one. Karen always asks what you would benefit from most during each lesson and is happy to go over things as many times as you like. Her vast knowledge and mock tests have really helped to build my confidence in driving over the past few months and she has without a doubt been the perfect instructor for me!

As somebody who gets extremely anxious behind the wheel, Karen managed to push me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to gain a lot more confidence whilst driving. Karen has completely transformed my driving experience. Prior to having lessons with Karen I was adamant I would never be able to drive. After starting my lessons and getting into the swing of things my confidence began to improve and my love for driving grew. I stumbled across Karen on Facebook whilst seeking a driving instructor, and I can confidently say I’m very happy I chose to go with her! Karen is a very patient teacher. She is very thorough in doing everything she can to prepare you for the big test day, taking you on mock tests, getting you in the right calm mindset, making you a better, safer driver. Best Instructor Ever!
Karen is a lovely, patient and fun lady, she's very helpful and will explain things until I clearly understand everything and she gave me so much knowledge and confidence that I passed driving first time. I would definitely recommend KAR-n-DRIVE to anyone I know. The amount of patience this lady has is unbelievable, even at the hardest moments she's calm and always knows the way out of situations and how to fix them.

Very experienced driver who stays calm when you make mistakes and helps you learn from them, as well as having very good communication when organising lessons. Feel like I came on quickly with her advice and would highly recommend.

Karen was a reliable and efficient instructor. She will teach you everything you need to learn from A to Z no shortcut. She won't let you sit on your test if she thinks you're not 100% confident to be on your own. I took my test the first time and passed it with 1 minor.
Highly recommend KAR-n-DRIVE
After having another instructor before Karen I can definitely say Karen is one of the best. The way she has helped me manage to get confidence within myself when driving and Karen has also helped me get to the stage where I’m the best driver I can be going into my test. Since starting to learn with Karen I’ve been able to get over my fear of hill starts, improve my clutch control but also improve my steering as before starting with Karen I tended to cross my arms over whilst steering which can be very dangerous.

Return to Driving
I have returned to driving after 10+ years after lacking the confidence to pursue it in my teens. Karen tailors each lesson to reflect your individual learning style. She spots any areas you are struggling to grasp quickly and offers various techniques as a solution to the problem. Karen has a calm approach and is really patient with me whilst I am learning. I would recommend Karen’s Driving School (KAR-n-Drive) and she is teaching me to be more confident on the roads in order to make me a safe driver.

After a previous test fail and not driving for years, Karen's lessons increased both my skill and confidence on the road massively. She would always make sure I understood everything 100% and was eager to help me improve my drive at every turn. She is much more interested in helping you fix a mistake than ever putting you down for making it.
On top of all this she down-to-earth and easy to talk to which creates a friendly and relaxed environment so you can fully focus on your drive. Karen is both an absolutely fantastic driving instructor and a super nice human being. I whole-heatedly recommend her!

Friendly, patient and professional
Really enjoying my lessons with Karen and feel like I make huge progress by the end of them. She is professional, kind and has alot of knowledge. If you're struggling with something she has a great way of breaking it down and helps you understand what's going on and how to correct it. I would highly recommend Karen as a driving instructor - her calm and patient teaching style has made learning to drive a really great experience. I was a nervous driver in the beginning but my confidence only keeps increasing now! Wonderful instructor. : )
An Amazing Instructor!!
I thought I just needed a refresher before my driving test so I contacted KAR-n-DRIVE.
Karen assessed my driving skills and created the ideal lesson plan to improve my weaknesses. She was patient and thorough which helped me quickly relaxed during these lessons!
I am happy to say I passed my test on the first attempt!!

Karen is professional, friendly and very patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn to drive.
I have been with Karen since March and she has been nothing but supportive and encouraging towards me and my driving. I always feel comfortable and able to ask for help with Karen and I have made so much progress because of this. The combination of independent driving and with Karen’s help has really improved my confidence and my understanding, would highly recommend!

Karen has really helped me build my confidence with driving up as she lets me make decisions for myself but is also patient and has great tips and tricks when i’m finding something difficult. She is also very friendly and easy to get along with which makes lessons very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a driving instructor!!

I needed refresher lessons after not driving for 8 years. Karen is an amazing driving instructor and the way she explained things to me was perfect, I could never fault her. She pushes you to be the best and safest driver. By the end of each lesson I felt much more confident. Thanks Karen for making such a big difference in helping me to build my confidence.

In my first lesson she made me feel confident, makes me feel really calm and safe when I’m driving and stays calm when i make mistakes and always talks everything through. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone begging or learning to drive, couldn’t recommend a better instructor!

Karen was an absolute superstar instructor and I can’t imagine there being anyone better in Aberdeen. For anyone who needs a calm, assured and knowledgeable guide through their lessons, Karen is the perfect instructor for them.

Karen is an excellent driving instructor and I'm so happy that I'm doing my lessons with her. She makes me feel really calm and safe when I'm driving even if I start to get nervous and panic a little. She always gives me praise on what I have done well or tips on improvements I can make when we are out on the roads. She has always put her trust and belief into me which has really helped towards her growing my confidence on the road. I would recommend Karen to anyone beginning or learning to drive! I can't wait for her to be with me when I do my test but I will really miss her once I've finished my lessons.

I have been having really successful driving lessons for just about over a month now and I can say I've gotten so much more confident from the beginning when I was more nervous. 5 Star Driving Instructor, passed 1st time with 3 minors. :)
When I started I was really nervous but after a little amount of time Karen made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and she makes it feel like such a relaxed environment! She's also such a relaxed and kind person which makes it even better.
I passed my test with Karen today and she was excellent from very first lesson to the very last one before my test. Really easy and quick to learn off and couldn’t have made it easier, thank you for everything.
Karen was a great instructor, I passed with only 1 minor, couldn’t have done it without her.
Had another lesson today and feel my confidence is growing each time. Karen is a very friendly and helpful instructor and I’m excited to continue my lesson with her.

I have been with Karen for a few months now, she is the best instructor I've had! so calm, so down to earth and makes it a really great environment to learn in. Getting more confident every time! Would recommend her every time to anyone wanting to learn or brush up on skills!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Karen, and can't recommend her enough. She has really helped me with my confidence, and since I started lessons with her, after changing from another instructor, I have come on leaps and bounds. I am older than a lot of her students and Karen has been very patient with me and really helped me believe I can do it. I have gone from absolutely dreading driving lessons, to really enjoying them. I can’t thank her enough and to anyone looking for a new instructor, look no further!

Learning to drive with Karen is a very enjoyable experience. She is always comforting and understanding. Karen not only teaches me to drive safely but also encourages me to believe in myself and gain confidence. She'll be the first person I recommend to anyone looking for driving lessons.
After having 3 previous driving instructors I found Karen to be the best. She was calm and so helpful at explaining things. I had a real fear of roundabouts before I had my lessons with Karen and she helped cure the fear to pass first time.

Thank you to the most amazing driving instructor ever! Karen has managed to take me from a nervous wreck to being a safe, confident and competent driver. She has always been patient when I've had a meltdown and has never missed an opportunity to challenge me when I've needed that push to believe in myself. She is exceptional at what she does and quite frankly awesome.

Karen is a great teacher, super patient, who wants the best for her students. Most of all, she encourages to believe in yourself and be confident. Been doing my lessons with Karen a couple of months now after being passed on to her from my previous instructor. I felt nervous about change but from day 1 she has put me at ease and she has helped me massively with my confidence when driving.
